Installation
Step 1: Power off and Read the Instructions
Before starting the installation, please ensure to turn off the power. The dimensions for embedding the lights can be found in the instruction manual. Typically, the installation distance between the recessed lights and the wall is around one meter, but the spacing between each light depends on your preference. Use a pencil to mark the installation position of each recessed light on the ceiling.
Step 2: Drill Marked Holes for Each Point on the Ceiling
Before starting the drilling process, make sure to drill the holes of the correct size. By now, you should be aware of the embedded depth and diameter for each recessed spotlight, and a few extra millimeters in drilling won't be crucial. Ensure you wear protective goggles while drilling.
Step 3: Insert the Recessed Spot Lights
After creating the space for the recessed spotlights, use an electrical tester to check if each drilled hole is powered. Once confirmed that each hole has an electrical current flowing through, turn off the power. Each spotlight has a crown connector for the main line. Connect the black and blue wires to the crown connector and tighten them with a screwdriver. If the spotlight requires grounding, connect the grounding wire (yellow-green wire) to the center crown connector. Push all the wires into the ceiling, away from the line of sight. Lock the springs in place and fully insert the spotlights into the holes. Repeat this step for all remaining recessed spotlights.
